Narmadapuram (Madhya Pradesh): Commissioner of Narmadapuram division Krishna Gopal Tiwari has directed the officials to send all files through the e-office system and keep away from accepting the hard copies of any file. Tiwari made the statement during the inspection of the collectorate on Wednesday.

He examined the establishment branch, financial wing, Nazarat wing (a department that maintains property records) and the records. Tiwari advised the officials to remove the shortcomings that he had found in some places.

He advised the officials to improve the conditions of the record books which are in a dilapidated state. In all service books, there should be signatures of the officers and names of nominees of all employees. He told the in-charges of all departments to do office work through the e-office system.

Tiwari said the officials should make e-service books on the pattern of the education department. Duplicate service books of all employees should be made, he said, adding that each employee should have a copy of it.  He directed the officials to write the annual confidential report (ACR) of every employee.

Because of lack of ACR, some employees have been deprived of time pay-scale, so their ACRs should be completed and time pay-scale given, Tiwari said. During the inspection of the establishment department, Tiwari said against 17 posts, 15 posts were filled.

He took feedback on the vacant posts of other departments. Tiwari was informed that the service books of grade-3 and other employees were kept in the establishment department. The signatures of the officers in the service books are important, so they should sign the service books.

During the inspection of the finance department, he directed the in-charge that the budget sanctioned by the government should be used to buy various items.

He told the officials to spend as much funds as sanctioned by the government for various works, and if the budget is spent, a fresh budget might be asked for. Additional commissioner RP Singh, collector Sonia Meena, joint commissioner (development) DC Dohar and additional collector DK Singh were present during the inspection.
