Police have arrested a young man for attempting to disturb social harmony in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The young man had written objectionable things about PM Modi and Hindu Gods and Goddesses and made it viral on WhatsApp. The police came into action after the young man wrote inflammatory and objectionable things against Hindu religion and made it viral on social media. Police have investigated the matter and arrested Mohammad Aqib, resident of Mahmadpur Badal village.
The police has taken this action keeping in mind the law and order situation of the district. This matter came to the notice of the police when youth Aaqib started making indecent comments on social media about PM Narendra Modi as well as Hindu religion. Aaqib made this message viral in many places through WhatsApp.
Police arrested and searched the youth’s mobile
After this matter came to light, seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police raided the house of youth Aaqib late at night and caught him. The police team is interrogating the caught youth. After searching the youth’s mobile, the police found many inflammatory posts on various social media.
Indecent remarks were being made to a special class
In these posts, objectionable things have been written against the Gods and Goddesses of Hindu religion including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sakra police station incharge Raju Kumar Pal said that some messages and audio clips were becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which indecent language was being used targeting a particular person and a particular class.
Police investigated the viral message
The police of Sakra police station conducted investigation regarding the message and viral message. After this it was revealed that these objectionable comments were being spread by Aaqib on social media. The police arrested Mohammad Aaqib within an hour. His mobile was also confiscated. The police have started further legal action regarding this entire matter.
