New Delhi- During the panchayat elections in Bengal, there was a lot of dictatorship. And 18 murders with sabotage happened within 24 hours. After which TMC MP Nusrat Jahan retaliated on Amit Malviya’s tweet. Malviya had accused TMC of booth capturing from Abhishek Banerjee in the parliamentary constituency Diamond Har Bar.
The war of words between the BJP and the TMC continues over the violence that broke out during the West Bengal panchayat elections. TMC alleged that BJP is spreading false news of booth capturing. Violence broke out in seven districts of West Bengal during the panchayat elections on Saturday. In which incidents of arson shelling, firing and bomb blasts were seen. Amidst the tension and unrest in the state, political parties have started accusing each other.
Amit Malviya, head of BJP’s IT cell, has made several tweets blaming the Mamata Banerjee government. He wrote on a Twitter that Mamta Banerjee has made a mockery of democracy in West Bengal. Referring to TMC MP and Mamata’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee, he said that in his Diamond Herbal, TMC put a stamp in the ballot box at the booth. Malviya further said that TMC captured the ghost late at night after voting where there was no CCTV camera. Only a policeman was stationed there. Abhishek Banerjee is a Member of Parliament from Diamond Herbal.
When TMC MP Nusrat Jahan has also retaliated on Amit Malviya’s allegation. And has made serious allegations of spreading rumors on BJP. He said that Netra CP is under Mathurapur Lok Sabha constituency. Nor of Diamond Herbal as claimed by Amit Malviya. He further taunted that unfortunately your IT cell is twisting elements to create publicity. And this campaign of spreading misinformation has to stop.
Amit Malviya, while sharing a video on his Twitter handle, had claimed that the villagers had received the ballot papers at present from booth number 5 of Netra Stripy in Diamond Herbal, Abhishek Banerjee’s parliamentary constituency. He further said that TMC has captured the booth last night. and completed the voting or is in contempt of the order of the court.
Elections were held in more than 74 thousand gram panchayats of West Bengal yesterday. During this, keeping in mind the security system, about one and a half lakh security personnel of the center and the state were deployed as soon as the voting started in the morning. So the incidents of fighting, arson, firing and looting of polling booths started coming to the fore from 7 districts. By evening the violence increased so much that more than 18 people lost their lives till 5 pm a total of 66.28% voting was registered.
