Madhya Pradesh: NTPC Khargone, Vindhyanchal Take Part In 11th Vigyan Mela | FP Photo

Sanawad (Madhya Pradesh): The 11th Vigyan Mela, Bhopal, organised by the Ministry of science and technology at BHEL Jamburi, saw the participation of NTPC, Khargone and Vindhyanchal.

The fair showcased prominent developments, major achievements and significant contributions towards Indian science and technology by the leading organisations of the country.

The pavilion displayed information about NTPC as a whole and focused on state’s two NTPC power plants in Khargone and Vindhyachal. The platform also talked about various initiatives taken by NTPC in the field of CSR and environment sustainability through panels, corporate films, working models, brochures, VR games and power quizzes.

The event attracted hundreds of school and college students, corporate professionals who were interested in NTPC and various sustainable technological initiatives such as utilisation of ash, ZLD, generation of electricity using renewable sources, Green energy, etc.?

Khargone STPS showcased various awards and achievements of NTPC and different ways the technology is being used to benefit society and uplift the lives of communities. At the conclusion and prize distribution ceremony, NTPC secured first position outside Bhopal category.

The prize was handed over by Dr Shiv Kumar Sharma, national organising secretary Vijnana Bharati, nuclear scientist Dr Nayak, Dr Anil Kothari and senior dignitaries of Vigyan Bharati.
