Mumbai: There are 17 wings in Majithianagar Society located in Kandivali west. The RCC slab of the second floor of one of these C-3 building fell on 8 April. The administration had issued a notice to completely vacate the dilapidated C-3 building in Majithianagar. However, even before notices were given, the residents were forced to vacate the building and live with relatives due to their life threatening. A slab of a flat of C-3 Wing Building of Majithianagar, nearly 55 years old on SV Road in Kandivali west, fell on Tuesday. A total of five people, including three and two laborers of a Gujarati family, were injured in the accident. After the incident, 16 flat owners living in this building vacated their flats. Apart from this, gas pipelines and light connections of these 16 flats were also cut as a precaution. Then on April 9, the administrative system has been restored after the closure of the gas supply in this building.
