In a unique and socially meaningful gesture, supporters of BJP leader and former Member of Parliament Dr. Sanjeev Naik have launched a notebook donation campaign to commemorate his birthday on April 15. The initiative aims to provide educational support to students from tribal and economically weaker sections across Maharashtra.
Every year, Dr. Naik’s birthday is celebrated with various constructive activities across Thane, Navi Mumbai, Mira-Bhayandar, and surrounding regions. These include blood donation camps, health check-ups, cleanliness drives, and the distribution of educational materials. This year, the focus is firmly on educational empowerment through a large-scale donation of notebooks.
Party workers and well-wishers have been urged not to bring flowers or gifts when meeting Dr. Naik. Instead, they are being encouraged to contribute notebooks and school supplies, which will be distributed among poor and tribal students in remote areas.
Speaking about the initiative, a party spokesperson said, “The fragrance of a flower bouquet fades in a day, but notebooks can brighten a child’s entire academic year. This is a birthday celebration with a purpose.”
