Nashik: Not DJ Noise, But Firecracker Smoke Caused Youth’s Death During Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration | Sourced

A 23-year-old man died during a procession held on the occasion of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s birth anniversary in the Phulenagar area on Peth Road on Sunday night.

Initially, it was claimed that the youth died due to the noise of the DJ. However, according to the autopsy report, the man was suffering from tuberculosis. Also, it has been found that he died due to breathing difficulty due to the smoke emitted by firecrackers.

A DJ was installed on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti in Dr Omkar Baba Nagar area in Phulenagar. On Sunday, April 13, the DJ was playing in the Teen Putala area in Phulenagar around 7.30pm when Nitin Fakira Ranshinge (23), a local, was standing there. Ranshinge started feeling unwell after the DJ’s volume increased and he suddenly collapsed. He started bleeding from his mouth and nose. His relatives immediately admitted him to the district hospital. However, Ranshinge died before treatment.

It was alleged that Ranshinge’s death was caused by the DJ’s volume. However, according to the autopsy report, it has been found that he was infected with tuberculosis. It is speculated that he had difficulty breathing due to the smoke after bursting crackers while the DJ was playing, and this is why he died. A case of accidental death has been registered in this case at Panchavati Police Station.
