North Korea has responded to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Marco Rubio called North Korea a ‘wicked country’. North Korea has said that such statements of America will not benefit American interests.
North Korea has targeted US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and described him as a ‘wicked’ country. North Korea said on Monday that such ‘rude and fruitless comments’ would never be in the interest of America. North Korea has criticized the current administration led by US President Donald Trump for the first time. North Korea had earlier indicated that it would continue its tough stand towards America at the moment. Trump has said that he wants to interact with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un through diplomacy.
There has been no change in the US policy.
North Korea’s Foreign Ministry said, “The hostile words and actions of a person in charge of American foreign policy once again confirm America’s hostile policy towards North Korea, which has no change.” The new US administration’s misguided approach towards North Korea will never be helpful in pursuing American interests.
North Korea raised questions
During an interview with the North Korean Foreign Ministry, Rubio questioned North Korea as a ‘wicked’ country. He cites Rubio’s 30 January interview in which he called North Korea and Iran a ‘evil country’ while talking about foreign policy challenges.
