Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi’s fans were left shocked and concerned recently after a video went viral online claiming that the actress had lost her life in a freak accident while on an adventure trip. But turns out that the woman in the video was not Nora, and the actress is safe and sound.
The video was shared by a malicious page on Instagram in which a woman can be seen tied to a cable with a harness. She then gets dropped from a massive height in the middle of the mountains like it is seen in bungee jumping.
However, the page shared the video with the caption, “@norafatehi famous Bollywood actor death bad news for bollywood (sic).” The video also had the text written on it: “Famous Bollywood artist Nora Fatehi accidental death (sic).”
The page was slammed by netizens for peddling fake news using Nora’s name by her fans. The actress is yet to react to the fake reports of her death.
It was only a few days ago that Nora and her team members were evacuated from a hotel in Los Angeles due to the blazing wildfire. “I have never seen anything like that. This is insane, we just got an evacuation order five minutes ago. So I quickly packed all my stuff and I am evacuating out of here. I am gonna go near the airport and chill there because I have a flight today and I really hope I can catch it,” the actress said in a video.
On the work front, Nora will be next seen in the Netflix show, The Royals, in which she will share the screen with Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi Pednekar, Sakshi Tanwar, Zeenat Aman, Milind Soman and others.
