The Transport Department has planned to operate two double decker electric buses in the initial phase. These buses will run from Morna Depot to Pari Chowk and according to the number of passengers, they can be expanded to jewelry.
Passengers will get big relief:
Due to this new scheme, people traveling between Noida to Pari Chowk and Jewar will be very comfortable daily. Double decker buses will be able to travel more passengers than normal buses, which will reduce congestion and the journey will be comfortable.
Morna depot will start:
Currently, normal CNG buses are operated from Morna depot to Pari Chowk and Jewar. Now two double decker electric buses will be tried on this route. If this trial is successful, the number of buses will be increased in the coming time. This will also reduce traffic pressure on the road.
Number will increase further after successful trial:
If the trial is successful, they will be operated on other routes to increase the number of double decker buses in the next few months. This will help in improving the quality of travel as well as pollution control.
Charging station ready:
Construction of the charging station for electric buses at Morna Depot has been completed. Charging facility of buses will start as soon as the electrical connection is received. This charging station will also serve as a regional hub, so that electric buses coming from Aligarh, Agra and nearby cities will also be charged.
