Mumbaikars enjoy relief from the peak summer heat, with temperatures in normal range while Vidarbha faces heatwave conditions | Representational Image

Mumbai: The state has started experiencing the peak of summer season. For the next three to four days, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a ‘Heatwave’ warning for the Vidharbha region and warning for ‘Hot and Humid’ conditions for certain parts of Marathwada region. On April 19, Nagpur recorded 44.7°C temperature, which was highest in the country.

However, Mumbaikars continue to experience a relief from scorching heat, as the temperatures are within normal ranges. No weather warnings are issued for Mumbai and it’s metropolitan regions for the week. On Sunday, the maximum temperature recorded in Mumbai was 33.6 °C and minimum was 24.3 °C.

As per IMD Mumbai’s weather report, the maximum temperature for the next seven days in Mumbai will remain in the range of 34 to 36°C and minimum will be in range of 24 to 26°C. The skies are expected to be mainly clear.
