CBSE Board Class 10 Result, CBSE Board Class 12 Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam results 2025 this month anytime soon. However, the date and time of the declaration of the results have not been officially announced.
Going with its recent trend, CBSE will not be declaring a list of toppers or giving divisions and distinctions in this year’s board results. This was initially done during the COVID-19 pandemic to lower unhealthy academic rivalry and pressure on students. Ever since the board has stuck to this method in a bid to promote balanced growth as opposed to ranking-driven success.
To pass the CBSE board exams, students are required to get at least 33% marks in every subject and in the aggregate. This is the minimum requirement for being declared “pass.” In case of borderline results, where a student is short by one or two marks, the board has the discretion to grant grace marks to enable the student to pass the subject.
CBSE will soon issue details regarding the revaluation and rechecking process for students who want to challenge their marks, after the result declaration. Students who do not pass one or more subjects will be given a chance to appear for the compartment exams, which will be conducted in July 2025.
Though individual scores will not be released, CBSE will bring out detailed statistics once the results are announced. This will encompass statistics like the aggregate pass percentage, regional performance, and gender-wise break-up.
