Bhopal Update: Newlywed Woman Hangs Self Over Marital Dispute, Farmer Consumes Poison, Dies, | Representative Image

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A newlywed woman ended her life by hanging herself in an area under Chhola Mandir police station late Tuesday night, police said.

Chhola Mandir area resident Bharti Kuchbundia (23) took the extreme step at her parent’s home. Bharti’s kin informed police that she was married to Vishal Kuchbundia only three months ago.

Vishal had allegedly started abusing her physically and mentally soon after the marriage. Woman’s kin told police that Vishal was in a relationship with another girl and was not ready to accept Bharti as his wife.

On Tuesday, Vishal again scuffled with Bharti following which her parents took her to their home in Kaichi Chhola area where she hanged herself.

Farmer ends life

In the other incident at Berasia a farmer ended his life by consuming some poisonous substance. He was upset as his wife was reluctant to live with him. 

Miscreants torch vehicle to avenge slap

Miscreants torched a vehicle of their rival to avenge a slap on Tuesday night under Tila Jamalpura police station limit. Police arrested two miscreants and paraded them in public on Wednesday.

Jamalpura police station house officer DP Singh said Faraz Khan (31) of Nagar Nigam Colony complained that Sahil along with his friends Shabbar and Owais reached his house and demanded cash for buying liquor. They assaulted Faraz and torched his Scooty when he refused. The trio are notorious criminals and are in watch list of Hanumanganj police station. Shabbar and Owais have been arrested while Sahil is still at large.

Police investigations later revealed that Faraz also has a criminal record and were in an enmity with Sahil over supremacy in the area. A few days ago, Faraz assaulted and slapped Sahil in the area.
