New Zealand has announced its squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 to be held in Pakistan and UAE. New Zealand has become the second team after England to announce the squad for this mega event. ICC has given time to all the teams to declare their provisional squad till January 12, while all the teams will have the freedom to make changes in the squad without any permission for one month.
New Zealand’s squad is being captained by Mitchell Santner, in which a total of 15 players have got a place. New Zealand has announced its squad in a unique way, in which captain Mitchell Santner himself revealed this.
The Blackcaps have shared Santner’s video on their official social media account, in which they said that the squad includes Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Devon Conway, Lockie Ferguson, Matt Henry, Tom Latham and Darrell Mitchell.
Additionally, 23-year-old Will O’Rourke is also in the squad, in what will be his first ICC tournament. Other players in the squad also include Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra, Bean Seers, Nathan Smith, Kane Williamson and Will Young.
