Welcome New Year 2023: Many people have celebrated the first day of the new year. A large number of devotees have reached Shirdi, Pandharpur, Kolhapur to start the new year with Devdarshan. Common devotees throng the temple in large numbers on the very first day to pray that this new year be healthy, financially prosperous and fulfill all expectations. Devotees have been queuing up at the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai since night. Thousands of devotees have also reached Shirdi to worship Sai.

There is an influx of devotees in Shirdi, Pandharpur, Kolhapur. A large number of devotees have entered to start the new year with Devdarshan. Everyone celebrates New Year in their own way. Some party, some go for a walk with their family, some devotees enter their respective places of worship. Be it Pandharpur, Shirdi or Shegaon, thousands of devotees come here to pay obeisance. Devotees have also reached Santnagari Shegaon in Buldhana district for darshan. On the occasion of New Year, a large number of devotees thronged to visit Renukamate at Mahur in Nanded district. There is an influx of devotees in Mahur to bid farewell to the new year and welcome the new year. Mahur is a complete Shaktipeeth among the three and a half Shaktipeeths of the Goddess.
The new year has started in Nagpur with the darshan of Sai. There is an influx of devotees in the Sai temple located on Wardha Marg since early morning. On the first day of the new year, thousands of devotees reached for Sai’s darshan. The entire premises of Sai temple is decorated with flowers.

Shri Vitthal Rukmini Temple is decorated with beautiful flowers and fruits on the occasion of New Year. Alandi’s devotee Pradeep Thakur and his family did the adornment. Pomegranate, orange, apple, pineapple and flowers like marigold, gerbera, rose, carnation are decorated in Chaukhambi, Solkhambi. Thousands of devotees reached Pandharpur on the first day of the new year to have darshan of Shri Vitthal Rukmini.
