Food Delivery App Swiggy delivered 3.50 lakh biryani orders on Saturday. At the same time, till 10.25 pm, the app sent more than 61,000 pizzas across the country. Swiggy According to a survey conducted on Twitter, Hyderabadi Biryani (Hyderabadi Biryani) 75.4 percent orders were received for Lucknow, followed by Lucknow-14.2 percent and Kolkata-10.4 percent. Giving information to PTI-language, sources said that the maximum number of Biryani was delivered with 3.50 lakh orders.
61,287 Pizza Delivered
The app delivered 1.65 lakh biryani orders on Saturday evening at 7.20 pm. Bawarchi, one of the highest selling Biryani restaurants in Hyderabad, delivered two Biryani per minute on 2021 New Year’s Eve and prepared 15 tonnes of the delicious dish to meet the demand for December 31, 2022. Swiggy said in another tweet that @Dominos_India, 61,287 pizzas have been delivered, we can only imagine how many packets of oregano are going with them.
12,344 people ordered Khichdi
The company also said that till 7 pm on Saturday, 1.76 lakh packets of chips had been ordered on Swiggy Instamart. Around 12,344 people across India ordered Khichdi till 9.18 pm on New Year’s Eve. Swiggy CEO Sriharsha Majety said in a tweet last evening that the party is off to a brisk start even before it has begun – we have already placed over 1.3 million orders.
