New Epfo Rules 2025: Profile updating now a pinch work!
This is the biggest relief! Now EPF members can update many information in the UAN (Universal Account Number) connected to their Aadhaar card without depositing any paper.
If your UAN is link to your Aadhaar card, then you can change the necessary information like your name, date of birth, gender (female/male), nationality, marriage name, married (matrimonial status), spouse’s name and date of starting job. For this you will not have to give any other document. This facility will benefit more than 6 crore EPFO members.
Yes, one thing to keep in mind is: If your UAN is made before 1 October 2017, you may have to take approval from your employer (ie your company or where you work).
