News India Live, Digital Desk: On Saturday morning at New Delhi railway station, there was a stir when a bomb was reported in an unclaimed bag. As soon as the information was received, the team of Delhi Fire Service, Delhi Police, Bomb Reported Squad and Dog Squad reached the spot. The teams immediately started a broad search operation at the railway station, for which state -of -the -art equipment is being used.

Fire department officials said that they had received information about unclaimed bags in the railway station premises at around 7:55 am. On the basis of information, the teams took immediate action and laid siege to the area.

Railway’s DCP KPS ​​Malhotra said that at around 8 am, the police came to know through the phone that a blue suitcase was lying near Gate No. 8 (Ajmeri Gate) of New Delhi railway station, which feared the bomb. He said that with the help of bomb disposal team and dog squad, the area around the station is being secured under intensive search operation.

At present, investigation is going on and security system has been increased at the railway station.
