Another major step has been taken towards urban development in Uttar Pradesh. The Noida Authority is now going to settle a new city in the name of New Noida, whose foundation will be laid in DNGIR (Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Special Investment Area).
Under this project, a modern city will be set up on 209.11 sq km (2091.29 hectares) land, which will ensure planned development, better use of agricultural land, and socio-economic uplift of farmers.
Drone survey will determine the map of land
The Noida Authority will conduct a drone survey of this entire region, which will first be done in 80 villages in Bulandshahr and Gautam Buddha Nagar districts.

Illegal construction will be revealed by the survey and notices and demolition will be taken on such constructions.
Drone survey company instructions to prepare PPT in 10 days
The authority has directed a selected company to prepare a presentation (PPT) within 10 days. This PPT will show which subjects are included in the survey and how illegal constructions will be identified.
This presentation will be presented before Dr. Lokesh M, CEO of Noida Authority. Subsequently, a big meeting will be held on April 20, in which the strategies related to the project will be discussed.
Drone survey will start in May, will be completed in 10 to 15 days
According to officials, this drone survey will begin in May 2024 and aims to complete it in 10–15 days.
The land acquisition process will be started after the survey.
31.65 hectares of land acquisition fixed in the first phase
In the first phase of construction of New Noida, 31.65 hectares of land will be acquired from 15 villages.
