Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna’s Sikandar hit the big screens on Sunday (March 30) but opened to mixed reviews and a lukewarm box office response. Netizens have largely criticised the film, particularly the performances of the actors. Since its release, social media has been flooded with reactions, with many expressing disappointment. Additionally, a section of users was left shocked by veteran actor Sathyaraj’s portrayal as the antagonist.

While some felt that director AR Murugadoss failed to bring out the best in the seasoned actor, others criticised Sathyaraj’s performance, calling it lackluster and unimpressive.

For the unawares, Sathyaraj is seen as politician Rakesh Pradhan in the action drama. He essays the role of Prateik Babbar’s father.
