Apoorva Mukhija is still in the news. Since the ‘India’s Got Latent’ controversy, we have been hearing new things about Apoorva Mukhija. Apoorva has recently made a comeback on social media. National Commission for Women’s Commission condemns
After Apoorva’s video surfaced, the National Commission for Women (NCW) took cognizance of the case and condemned such derogatory messages and threats. The Women’s Commission yesterday urged law enforcement agencies to identify criminals in this matter and prosecute them. Not only this, the Commission has described such behavior as extremely wrong and said that no woman should feel insecure in the public or digital world.
The commission has sought a report.
The Women’s Commission has said that threatening such rape and death is extremely wrong and dangerous and strict action should be taken against it. The National Commission for Women has written a letter to Maharashtra’s DGP Sanjay Kumar Verma asking them to conduct an immediate and thorough investigation and seek action report within three days. The Commission has also said that necessary assistance and security should be provided to Apoorva.
Apoorva and Ranveer were called.
It is noteworthy that Apoorva and Ranveer were summoned by the Women’s Commission in the ‘India’s Got Latant’ controversy. This time both of them accepted their mistake and apologized. The Women’s Commission had described the obscene comments made on the show as extremely embarrassing and said that there should not be such things on the social media platform. Now the Women’s Commission has been asked to take action against those who support Apoorva and threaten her.
