Naxalite encounter in Kurraguttalu hill : Security forces have launched a major anti-Naxal campaign on the Kurraguttalu hill near the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border. Information has been revealed that security forces have killed 31 Naxalites on this mountain.

31 Naxalites killed hidden on the mountain

The Home Minister has posted on Twitter that security forces have launched a major campaign in Kurraguttalu. He said that security forces have achieved great success in India’s Naxal -free resolve and have killed 31 notorious Naxalites hidden on the Kurraguttalu mountain by running the biggest operation against Naxalism.

The Naxalites were eliminated after the 21 -day campaign.

The Kurraguttalu Hill was the headquarters of major Naxalite organizations like PLGA Battalion-1, DKSZC, TSC and CRC. Naxalites were trained here. Apart from this, when a strategy was being made here and weapons were being manufactured, CRPF, STF and DRG personnel went to these mountains and completed this operation in just 21 days.

Now Naxalism in only 6 districts

He said, ‘In 2014, the number of Naxalite affected districts was 35, which has come down to just six in 2025. During this period, the number of Naxalite affected districts was 126, which has come down to 18.
