The audience does not always understand the lengths to which legendary Bollywood actors go to make their acting natural. The audience realizes this when they start seeing the character instead of the actor, and become emotional when the character laughs or cries. Every actor adopts different methods to improve his acting, and many times they get inspired by each other. Nawazuddin Siddiqui also got an important tip from Dilip Kumar during an act.
Nawazuddin told in an interview that he had to wear a coat for a character in a serial. When the coat did not arrive on time, he was made to wear Dilip Kumar’s coat. Nawazuddin said, “Nowadays, in films, one goes to the sets and gets costumes and the same kind of acting also happens. People go away acting at superficial level. But Dilip Sahab always went deeper.”
When Nawazuddin wore Dilip Kumar’s coat, he put his hand in his pocket and found an old kajal with some verses written on it. He told, “When I asked about that paper, Sara ji’s brother said that Dilip Sahab always kept two-three props for his roles. He would put his hand in his pocket and feel him so that he would remember that he was not some other person but the same character.”
Talking about the work front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was last seen in films like “Haddi” and “Rautu Ka Raaz”. His upcoming films include “Section 108”, and he will also play an important role in “Krrish 4”, which fans are eagerly waiting for.
