The list released by the London administration officially this month also includes the name of Hasan Nawaz Sharif, son of former Prime Minister of Pakistan and nephew of current Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. It is said that they are outstanding about 10 million. It has been told in this official information that this tax is pending since the year 2015-16 and now the amount of fine imposed on it has increased to about 10 million pounds.

Hasan Nawaz’s name was also revealed in the Panama Papers leak case. In this, he and his family were accused of acquiring illegal assets from black money. Hasan Nawaz Sharif then sold one of his assets in London to a Pakistani named Ali Riyaz Malik for 38 million pounds. It is said that he himself is also suspicious. It is also being said that this person was working to make the black money of the Sharif family white. People close to Hasan Nawaz believe that he had all done, but when he was asked to pay more income tax, he refused to pay. The case was taken to the High Court by the Income Tax Department of the United Kingdom, where the High Court declared Hasan Nawaz bankrupt after hearing.

Action against Hasan Nawaz

A case was registered against Hasan Nawaz on 25 August 2023 by the UK Income Tax Department under Case No. 694/2023. In its judgment on this, the High Court of Britain declared Hasan Nawaz bankrupt. In April 2025, bankruptcy proceedings will be initiated against him. Under this, the Income Tax Department can collect the penalty by selling the property present with them.
