The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has secured a significant office space in Mumbai’s premium commercial property, Oberoi Commerz III, Goregaon East for Rs 2.15 crore per month.
According to data from Propstack, the lease agreement was registered in November 2024, with operations set to begin on February 25, 2025.
NPCI will occupy two floors, the 27th and 28th, in the state-of-the-art commercial tower, spanning a chargeable area of 115,332 square feet and a carpet area of 80,732 square feet.
The lease comes at a monthly rental of ₹187 per square foot, amounting to ₹2.15 crore per month or ₹25.9 crore annually.
The agreement has been signed for a tenure of 60 months, with a nine-month security deposit. The deal also includes a 15% rental escalation clause after three years, a standard practice for long-term commercial leases.
Oberoi Commerz III, known for its prime location and modern infrastructure, has been attracting prominent tenants seeking high-grade office spaces in Mumbai’s bustling business hubs.
