You don’t need to do anything to use Wi-Fi on Air India flights, just enable Wi-Fi on your phone and then go to Wi-Fi settings. Select the option in which you will see Air India Wi-Fi network. Enter your PNR and last word of name where you will go to direct Air India portal. After this you will be able to use free internet. However, Wi-Fi service on flights in India could start earlier. But the decision was pending with the government. Central Telecom’s in-flight and on-time connectivity research led to the decision last year to launch free Wi-Fi service on all domestic airlines for India.
