Names of probable BJP president to be forwarded to RSS?
It is said that three names could be forwarded to RSS for the new BJP chief in Bengaluru on March 22. Leaders are scheduled to meet in Bengaluru. It is said that names of Dharmendra Pradhan, Bhupendra Yadav and Manohar Lal Khattar are likely to be forwarded.

IPS Nivedita Naidu Breaking Taboos, Promoting Menstrual Hygiene in Umaria (MP)
IPS Nivedita Naidu is a 2016 Batch Officer of Madhya Pradesh Cadre and is currently posted as Superintendent of Police in Umaria, MP. Known for her dedication to duty, Her vision for the district goes beyond routine responsibilities focusing on often overlooked issue menstrual hygiene. “We are working on improving access to alternative menstrual hygiene products,”she shared. The initiative focuses on creating awareness and improving accessibility, specifically targeting menstrual cups for now. With this, Naidu is breaking societal taboos surrounding menstrual cups challenging misconception and hesitation associated with their use “We are training the trainers- Asha workers and others to take this awareness forward,”she explained.
Under Naidu’s leadership, this unique and out of the box initiative has trained over 200 Asha workers and women “In the process, we have trained around 200 Asha workers and women,” she said. (Training the trainers in how to disseminate information on alternate menstrual hygiene products.)

Has the AGM cleared IBA’s official names?
If sources are to be believed , the AGM, held in Mumbai on Monday, reportedly cleared the name of the new Chairman and some other officials. It is said that CS Setty’s name has been recommended for the Chairmanship
MC of IBA to put final seal
Sources said that the Management Committee (MC) will put the final seal on the recommendations of the AGM. It means the MC will give the final nod for the appointment of C S Shetty as new IBA Chairman. The MC meeting will be held shortly.

She worked for SAIL for around 25 years, out of which she was Technical Advisor to Chairman, SAIL for more than 8 years. Ms. Singh has been adjudged as one of the top 100 Inspirational Women in Mining globally in 2020 (first time from India). She has several other awards also to her credit, which includes, ‘SCOPE Outstanding Woman Manager 2017’ and ‘Best Employee Award’ in SAIL. The UP government is likely to issue two more transfer list of IPS officers. Officers from Addl SPs, SP, DIGs, IGs and ADGs could be included in the list. More than two dozen district police chief may be changed.

In UP , the name of Bhanu Baskar is doing the round for the post of ADG, Meerut Zone. Presently he is ADG, Prayagraj Zone. He is an IPS officer.
