One of the major reasons for the slow earnings of the film is a strict competition from Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhava’, which has collected a bumper collection of Rs 363.25 crore in 12 days of release. In addition, the release of content-driving films like ‘Crazy’ and ‘Superboys of Malegaon’ on the coming Friday may further increase the challenges for ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’.
In the film, Arjun Kapoor has tried his best to do justice to his character, while the stand-up comedian Harsh Gujral has added comedy in his Bollywood debut. The story of the film revolves around the life of Ankur, Prabhleen and Antara, in which Ankur accidentally meets Antara after divorce and falls in love with her. However, when he plans to marry her, Prabhine returns to her life.
Given the current box office position of the film, it is difficult to say whether it will be able to make up for its budget. Given the competition from the upcoming films, the path ahead for ‘Mere Husband Ki BV’ seems challenging.
