26 -year -old Anuj Sharma, a resident of village Bhayangi in Khatauli Kotwali area of Muzaffarnagar district, was married to Pinky Sharma alias Sanno of Loni police station area of Ghaziabad two years ago. Anuj worked in a hospital in Meerut. A few months after the wedding, quarrels started between Pinky and Anuj. Anuj suspected that Pinky was talking to someone else. Anuj tried to convince Pinky several times.
Pinky filed a complaint against Anuj for assault
Anuj’s sister Meenakshi told that when he used to go to work, Pinky used to talk to her lover on mobile for hours. The situation became so bad that Pinky lodged a complaint against Anuj of assault and the police counseling both. Anuj’s sister Meenakshi told that one day Anuj snatched Pinky’s mobile phone and saw her lover’s messages and photos in it. The lover was none other than Pinky’s relative. After this, on the evening of 25 March, Pinky tried to kill Anuj by poisoning coffee. After drinking coffee, Anuj’s health deteriorated and had to be admitted to a hospital in Meerut. Doctors have placed him in the ICU and his condition is said to be critical. CO Khatauli Ramashish Yadav said that it was reported that Pinky had killed her husband Anuj Kumar with poison in coffee. A case has been registered based on the complaint of Anuj’s family.
