Lucknow, 21 October (H.C.). Supreme Court Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, Justice J.B. A bench of Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra, while hearing a petition by Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, banned the recommendation of the National Child Rights Protection Commission to stop the financial assistance of madrasas. After this, all Muslim religious leaders including Maulana Khalid Rashid Firangi Mahali of Lucknow, Maulana Yasin Abbas welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision.
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights had recommended Madrasas to ban government funded and aided for not following the Right to Education Act of NCPCR. On which the advocate of Muslim organization Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind has argued.

Madrasas are open for every religion, students of madrasas also have full right to education. We welcome the decision of the Supreme Court.
