Murlidhar Mohol Meets Ashwini Vaishnaw To Discuss Key Issues For Pune, Including Vande Bharat Trains & All India Radio | X/@mohol_murlidhar
Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation Murlidhar Mohol, who is a Member of Parliament from Pune, met Union Minister for Railways and Information & Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss key issues related to the city in the national capital.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Mohol listed a total of six points he discussed with Vaishnaw:
1. Pune Akashwani should be broadcast from Pune Centre instead of Mumbai, and the ‘Rainbow’ radio channel should be started for Pune.
2. Pune Akashwani should be provided with the latest and state-of-the-art technology, and vacant posts in the programme department should be filled immediately.
3. A ‘Vande Bharat Sleeper Train’ should be started between Pune and Delhi.
4. ‘Vande Bharat’ trains should be provided between Pune-Solapur, Pune-Nashik, and Pune-Kolhapur.
5. The Pune Doordarshan Centre should be modernised.
6. The number of train journeys running between Pune and Jodhpur (Rajasthan) should be increased.
“After discussing all the above issues, Vaishnaw ji has given appropriate instructions for their completion,” added Mohol.
