- 2 cups of sugar (equal to mango weight)
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/2 teaspoon saffron (optional)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 4 cups of water

- For this, first wash the raw mangoes thoroughly.
- Now peel them and cut them in half.
- Separate mango seeds and dry the mango pieces with a clean cloth.
- After this, heat water in a large pot. When the water starts boiling, add mango pieces to it.
- Boil the mangoes for 5-7 minutes so that they become slightly soft, but do not soften them too.
