December 9: Santosh Deshmukh, the sarpanch of Masjog in Kage Taluka in Beed district, was going to his village in his vehicle after opposing the forcible recovery racket led by Valmik Karad. After this, some people descended from Scorpio and broke Deshmukh’s car window and forcibly put them in another car and kidnapped them. Deshmukh was then beaten, tortured and brutally murdered. After this, the body of Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh was recovered by the police a few hours after the kidnapping. December 11: Dhanjay Deshmukh, brother of Santosh Deshmukh, filed a petition for justice. After this, the police registered a case in this case and started investigation.
