Mumbai, January 18: The Mumbai Police have put up posters showing the suspect involved in the attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan in Vikhroli. CCTV images of the suspect are now being displayed at various police stations and along roads. The police have urged citizens to contact the nearest police station if they see him.
More than 48 hours have passed since the attack, but the police have not been able to arrest the suspect yet. Several police teams are actively looking for him in different areas, gathering information to track him down.
Details About The Incident
Saif Ali Khan was attacked and stabbed several times by the suspect during the night of January 15 and 16 allegedly in an attempt of robbery. The attacker entered Saif’s home on the 11th floor. When he came across Saif’s maid, he demanded money. Saif noticed the commotion and went to check, where he confronted the attacker, who then stabbed him several times before escaping.
After the attack, Saif’s son and maid rushed him to Lilavati Hospital, where he is still under medical observation. Reports say that Saif is no longer in danger and has been moved from the ICU to a regular ward. It is expected that he will be discharged from the hospital on Monday, January 20.

According to the FIR, the attacker entered the bedroom of actor Saif Ali Khan’s younger son, Jeh. He was spotted by his nanny. He then demanded Rs 1 crore which was noticed by the actor and the intruder attacked him.

Police Action
Mumbai Police have formed 20 teams to find the suspect. They are also checking if the stabbing could be the work of a known criminal. To explore this possibility, the police are questioning known offenders.

On January 18, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif’s wife, gave her statement to the Bandra Police. The statement was taken at her home in the evening.
So far, the police have recorded more than 30 statements related to the stabbing incident.
