Mumbai: As the clock struck midnight, the iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) station echoed with a symphony of train horns, marking the continuation of its unique tradition to welcome the new year. The video of all trains honking at the CSMT honking in unison is being widely shared on social media platforms.
Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw also shared the video on his official X (formerly known as Twitter) to wish everyone a happy new year. In the video, all the trains at the CSMT station and rail shed started to honk as soon as the clock at the railway station showed 00:00.
Passengers started cheering as the clock struck midnight. In the video, passengers could be seen capturing the moment.
