According to Shri Jagannath Temple Administration, devotees wearing half pants, shorts, torn jeans, skirts and sleeveless dress are not allowed to enter the temple.
  • The dress code was implemented in September 2023 for devotees to enter the sanctum sanctorum of Mahakal Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. According to the rules there, men are allowed to enter only by wearing dhoti and women only wearing sarees.
