The last fare hike was implemented on October 26, 2021.
Based on a formula recommended by an expert committee, the State Transport Authority approved a 14.95% hike in fares for stage carriage services of the MSRTC. This fare hike will come into effect from midnight on January 25, 2025.
Approval for BS-6 Buses:
The authority reviewed measures regarding the introduction of new BS-6 standard buses with an eco-friendly design in tomato red livery. These measures were approved.
Color Scheme for E-Buses:

A white and green livery for 50 e-buses.
