The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has officially released the 2025 board exam schedule for Class 9 and Class 11 students. According to the newly published timetable, Class 9 exams will commence on February 3, 2025, while Class 11 exams will begin on February 5, 2025.
Exam timings
The exams for both classes will follow the board-pattern format, with Class 9 exams scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Class 11 exams taking place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The MPBSE has emphasized the importance of punctuality, urging students to report to their respective examination centers at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of their exams.
The board has ensured that even if a public or local holiday occurs during the exam period, the tests will proceed as planned, without any changes to the schedule. To help students better prepare, the board has designed the timetable with an average of three-day intervals between major subjects like Mathematics, Science, and English for Class 9. A similar gap has been incorporated for Class 11 subjects.
Students will receive their answer booklets 10 minutes before the exam begins, and question papers will be distributed five minutes prior to the start of each examination.
Practical exams
In addition, the MP School Education Department has instructed all schools to arrange practical exams during the main exam period to ensure they are completed by the final exam date. Notably, for Class 9 students, the Mathematics exam will be conducted according to the student’s choice between Standard Mathematics and Basic Mathematics.
