Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh West Zone Electricity Distribution Company managing director Anoop Kumar Singh on Tuesday issued a strict directive to ensure the timely completion of projects under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) by the end of March.
He made it clear that any negligence in meeting the deadline will not be tolerated. Chairing a meeting attended by officers from 15 districts and representatives of working agencies on Tuesday, Singh emphasised that all work under RDSS hold top priority for the Central Government, the state government, and the power company.
He also stressed the importance of punctuality and quality in project execution and instructed officials to immediately increase the workforce to meet the deadline. Singh specifically mentioned that all projects related to new grids, feeder separation, feeder internal combination, transformers, additional transformers, and conductors must be completed 100% by the end of the month.
He also directed agency representatives to accelerate field operations, conduct daily supervision, and ensure sufficient material availability for grids, lines, and transformers to avoid delays. Besides, Singh instructed power company officials to closely monitor progress and swiftly implement necessary improvements. He urged agencies to resolve pending issues on priority and ensure that no project lags behind.
