Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Maharashtra won 68th National School Shooting Championship held at MP Shooting Academy here on Sunday. Bhopal won four bronze medals. CBSE remained at third place. In PP Sight Air Rifle under-19 Girls category, DAV’s Bhoomi won gold whereas CBSE’s Ananya and MP’s Shrivalli Srivastava bagged silver and bronze medals respectively. In the team event, CBSE won the gold medal whereas Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh bagged silver and bronze medals respectively. In PP Sight Air Rifle Under-19 Boys, Maharashtra’s Parth came first whereas Rajasthan’s Dakshveer Singh and KVS’s Manas Kanoje secured the second and third positions respectively. In the team event, Maharashtra won gold medal whereas Punjab and Haryana bagged silver and bronze medals respectively. In PP Site Air Rifle under-14 Girls category, AV Sarank of Maharashtra won gold whereas Mahalakshmi from Karnataka and Riturpana Deshmukh from MP got silver and bronze medals respectively. In the team event of Air Pistol under-19 Boys category, Delhi won gold, whereas UP and MP won silver bronze medals respectively. BOX MP in semi-final Madhya Pradesh entered semi-final by defeating Manipur 3-0 in pre-quarter final and DAV in quarter final by 10-1 Aishbagh ground on Sunday under the 68th National School Hockey Competition. Semi-final match will be played against Odisha. The second semi-final will be played between UP and Jharkhand.
