Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Civil Services Day ceremony and conferred ‘Chief Minister’s Excellence Awards’ to civil servants and others for their exemplary work at Bhopal’s Academy of Administration on Monday.

Here, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain lit the ceremonial lamp.

On the occasion, CM Yadav shared two examples that inspired him. “One was from 2,200 years ago. Chanakya searched for and mentored Chandragupta Maurya. He guided him to become a great ruler and he took the role of chief administrator himself,” he said.

He also praised Sardar Patel for his invaluable contributions and ideals, which still serve as a guide for civil servants today.
