Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has uploaded the exam pattern for the 10th and 12th board exams on its website on Tuesday.

With just over a month left before the exams, the pattern includes details about marks distribution and the types of questions.

For 10th-grade exams, each subject will have a paper of 75 marks and an internal assessment of 25 marks. For 12th-grade non-practical subjects, the exam will have 80 marks, and internal assessment will be 20 marks. Practical subjects will have a paper of 70 marks, and 30 marks will be for practicals.

This year, the number of short-answer questions (2 marks each) will be higher than long-answer questions. Objective-type questions will be worth 30 marks. Schools have been directed to use sample papers for preparation.

Pre-board exams for both classes will begin on January 16, and schools are conducting extra classes to help students prepare. Many schools are holding additional classes on Sundays and holidays. In CM Rise Schools, teachers have been assigned specific students to focus on, especially those who need more help.
