Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (March 6) Uttarakhand: Are on a tour. After worshiping Maa Ganga in Mukhba here, he addressed a rally in Harshil. In this rally, he first expressed grief over the death of the workers due to avalanche in Mana village of Uttarakhand. He said, “I express my grief on this tragedy.” My condolences to those who lost their lives in the accident.
Recalling his old memories and visits related to Uttarakhand, Prime Minister Modi said, “It is currently the decade of Uttarakhand. There should be no off season in Uttarakhand. Places here should be open for tourism every day.
This land of Gods is full of spiritual energy.
The Prime Minister said, ‘This Devbhoomi of Uttarakhand is full of spiritual energy. It receives blessings of Chardham and Anant Tirtha. I am confident that with the blessings of mother Ganga, I have reached Kashi and serving Kashi as an MP. Mother Ganga called me. Just a few months ago I felt as if mother Ganga had adopted me. Due to his love, I have come to my village Mosal Mukhba today.
Whatever the weather, tourism should continue.
The Prime Minister further said, ‘When I went to see Baba Kedarnath a few years ago, I said that these decades will be from Uttarakhand. Those words were mine, those feelings were mine, but the power behind him was Baba Kedarnath. With the blessings of Baba Kedar, those words, those feelings are changing into truth and reality. This decade is being made from Uttarakhand. I want that whatever the weather, tourism should continue. The resorts remain empty in winter, causing economic imbalance. People coming from India and abroad will get a real glimpse of spiritual aura at this place.
‘Kedarnath Yatra will be completed in 30 minutes’
The Prime Minister said, ‘Our double engine government is working together to make Uttarakhand a developed state. The Union Cabinet has approved the Kedarnath Ropeway Project and Hemkund Ropeway Project. After the construction of Kedarnath ropeway, the Kedarnath Yatra will now be completed in just 30 minutes instead of the current 8-9 hours. This will make the Kedarnath Yatra more convenient for the elderly and children.
