Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna is just a few days away from its March 30 release. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, is all set for its release this week, bringing a triple celebration for the festivals of Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid. Amidst the rising excitement, the advance bookings for the film have finally started, giving audiences a chance to secure their seats for this year’s biggest cinematic celebration.
After a quick search on the online movie ticket booking portal BookMyShow shows that the most expensive ticket for Sikandar in Mumbai is priced at Rs 2,280, including a Rs 70 convenience fee, at Maison INOX: Jio World Plaza, BKC. However, this price does not include food and beverages.
Earlier today, in a recent promotional video featuring three iconic names—Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, and A R Murugadoss—Aamir asked Murugadoss who between him and Salman is the real Sikandar. The video ends with AR Murugadoss having a puzzled look on his face. Sharing the video, Salman wrote on Instagram, “Amar Prem ka Andaaz with AR Murugadoss! #SikandarMeetsGhajini.”
Sikandar also stars including Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Anjini Dhawan, Sathyaraj and Prateik Babbar, among others.
The film has been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a UA 13+ rating. As per Bollywood Hungama, the makers have been instructed to mute the word “Home” from “Home Minister” at the beginning of the film and in all other instances where it appears.
Furthermore, the report states that the makers have been asked to blur the visuals of a political party hoarding. However, no visual cuts have been made.
