New Delhi: Monsoon rains have made life miserable these days across the country, due to which people are registering a significant drop in temperature. Today, heavy rains were witnessed in many parts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The situation has worsened due to the rain, due to which rivers, ponds and drains are overflowing in many places. Everyone is troubled by the incessant rains in the country’s capital Delhi and its surrounding areas as well.

In South India, the rains have made life miserable for the people. In Kerala, holidays have also been declared for schools in some places. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain accomp.ed by lightning and thunder in several states of the country.

The situation will worsen due to rain in these parts

According to IMD, rain warnings have been issued in most parts of the country. Many districts of Haryana, Western, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh may witness heavy rains for the next 24 hours. Not only this, a warning of lightning has also been issued here. Apart from this, the possibility of heavy rains has also been expressed in the northeastern states, where the situation can become completely worse.

There is a possibility of heavy rains in states like Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Puducherry. Rains can again make life difficult in South India. Heavy rain accomp.ed by lightning and thunder is expected in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Telangana.

It will rain heavily here too

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rains in most parts of the eastern part of Rajasthan. Along with this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Bikaner and Jodhpur division in one or two days. Apart from this, there is hope of rain in Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir as well.
