Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) is expected to release the QR code and portal in December for citizen feedback regarding Swachh Survekshan-2024(SS-24). It is mandatory under Jan-Andolan which carries 1295 marks out of 9500 in run of Swachh Survekshan-2024(SS-24).

According to BMC officials, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) releases it in December. To bring efficiency and transparency in sanitation survey, citizens’ feedback is collected via various channels – Vote for My City App, Vote for My City Portal, MyGov App, Swachhata App and QR Codes. Citizens’ feedback has been collected seamlessly with the cooperation of the state government, district administration and general public to participate in the survey.

Mayor-in-Council (MiC) RK Baghel said, ‘BMC has nothing to do with it. In fact, MoHUA releases it for citizen feedback for a certain period. We hope, soon it will be released as it is high time for it.’ BMC’s Additional Commissioner Devendra Chauhan said, ‘It will be soon released. We are having meeting with NGOs and other stakeholders.

MoHUA will be released. On Saturday, we have distributed PPE kits to 338 staff of sewage cell which is one of the parameters of SS-24. Emphasising on transformation of manhole to machine hole, Secretary, MoHUA highlighted the importance of SafaiMitra Suraksha.
