Indian team’s experienced fast bowler Mohammed Shami has been out of Team India from ODI World Cup 2023. Shami is undergoing rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) due to a knee injury. Fans were hoping that Shami would return to Team India fully fit before the Border Gavaskar Trophy with Australia, but now once again the hopes of the fans have got a big blow.
Shami was injured during rehab
According to reports, Mohammed Shami has once again got injured during the rehab process at NCA. Due to which Shami’s knee has become swollen. Due to which Shami’s return may be further delayed. It is being claimed that Shami may now be out of cricket for 6 to 8 weeks. This means that there is more doubt on Shamina’s performance in the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
