Mohammed Shami: In Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, Maulana Shahabuddin Rajvi has called the Indian cricket team’s fast bowler Mohammed Shami a ‘criminal’. Rajvi has said that Shami did not deliberately fasten, which is against Sharia and is a crime. During the match against Australia, Mohammed Shami was seen drinking energy drinks at the ground. After which this dispute started.

Shahabuddin Rajvi, National President of All India Muslim Jamaat, issued a statement saying that in Islam, everyone has to fulfill the duty of fasting. If a person does not deliberately fast, then he is a great pappe. It is the duty of Mohammed Shami to keep fast. He has committed a huge crime by not fast. According to Sharia, Shami is a criminal.

 

Shami is a criminal in the eyes of Sharia

Speaking to the media, Shahabuddin Rajvi said that fasting is one of the essential duties. If a healthy man or woman does not fast, then he is a great sinner. Famous Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami drank water or any other beverage during the match. People were watching them. If he is playing then it means that he is healthy. Rajvi further told that in such a situation he did not fast and drank water. This leads to wrong message to people. He has committed sin by not fast. They should not do this. In the eyes of Sharia, he is a criminal. They have to answer to God.

 

Religion should not be brought in the middle.

Regarding Mohammed Shami, Rohit Pawar, MLA in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, said that while representing the country, Mohammed Shami feels that keeping Rosa will affect his performance or something else is correct. He is a loyal Indian who has won the team many times. Religion should not be brought in the middle. Today, if you ask a Muslim person, he will say that he is proud of Mohammed Shami.
