Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for a two -day Thailand visit. During his visit, he will hold talks with Thai Prime Minister Fethongthane Shinavatra in Bangkok and will attend the sixth BIMSTEC summit on Friday. Leaders of Thailand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar and Bhutan are participating in this conference.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Thailand for a two -day visit on the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Fethongthane Shinavatra. Prime Minister Modi will attend the sixth BIMSTEC summit to be held on 4 April 2025. This will be the Prime Minister’s third visit to Thailand. After this, PM Modi will leave for Sri Lanka.

PM Modi will first attend the BIMSTEC summit in Thailand, in which the heads of 7 countries will participate. Leaders of Thailand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar and Bhutan will participate in this conference. After this, the Prime Minister will go on an official visit to Sri Lanka from 4 to 6 April. The Prime Minister will participate in the development projects being implemented with the financial assistance of India here.

The main attractions of the summit include adopting the sixth BIMSTEC Summit Declaration, which will highlight the leaders’ attitude and guidelines. In addition, the historic Bangkok Vision 2030 will be the first roadmap to increase future cooperation.
