Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav held a video conferencing with the party legislators on Wednesday.

The discussion was related to the preparations for the upcoming assembly session. Because the BJP is stronger than the opposition in the House in terms number, the ruling dispensation should dominate the floor, he said.

During the interaction, it came to light that the floor management was weak on previous occasions. The issues raised by the Congress came to the surface, but the BJP legislators have failed to do that, so the legislators will form separate groups to manage the floor.

These groups will prepare plans to discuss the important issues in the House. The legislators should do proper homework before coming to the House and forcefully put up their points in the House, so that the ruling dispensation may dominate the opposition camp, Yadav said.

The legislators should be vociferous in favour of the government and should tear into the opposition, he said. The works done by the government are not getting proper attention and the legislators should play a more active role in highlighting the government works, he said.

Referring to the Global Investors Summit held in Bhopal, Yadav said it was discussed everywhere in the country. Such achievements should be forcefully raised at different levels, the Chief Minister said. The government has done a lot of works which should be mentioned at every public forum, Yadav said.

At the video-conferencing, it also came to light that instead of attacking the opposition, the legislators often tried to corner their own government, and it benefited the opposition, he said.

The Chief Minister also took feedback from the legislators on the developments in their respective constituencies. The legislators should also make efforts to ensure that government’s schemes benefit the public, he said.
